Campaigning Gains Momentum For First Phase Of Lok Sabha Elections

New Delhi: Campaigning is gaining momentum as the polling date for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections is nearing. Senior leaders of major political parties are campaigning in different states going for polls in this phase. Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi yesterday addressed election rallies in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.  During his address, Mr. Modi said that this is not a general election, but the election of developed India. On the other hand, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara, former chief minister Ashok Gehlot and senior party leaders addressed nomination rallies of party candidates in Pali and Jodhpur.

Senior BJP leader Amit Shah also led a road show in Channapatna yesterday that is part of Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha constituency in Karnataka. 

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also addressed media persons in Mysuru yesterday.
