Cancer Healer Center Continues Nationwide Growth with Launch of 31st Centre in Coimbatore, 2nd in Tamil Nadu
Coimbatore : After recently launching its 30th centre in Pune, Cancer Healer Center has further expanded its national footprint with the launch of its new centre in Coimbatore, marking its 31st facility across India and second centre in Tamil Nadu. According to ICMR-NCDIR’s Tamil Nadu cancer profile, the state was projected to record 78,641 new cancer cases in 2020, including 35,863 cases among men and 42,778 among women. The profile also points to key cancer-linked risk factors in the state, including tobacco use, second-hand smoke exposure, alcohol use, obesity and other lifestyle-related risks.
The data highlights stomach, mouth and lung cancers among the leading cancer sites in men, while breast, cervix and ovarian cancers remain among the leading cancer sites in women. These trends underline the need for greater awareness around symptoms, screening, timely diagnosis and structured care guidance, especially beyond major metro cities.
The newly opened Coimbatore centre has been established to support patients from Coimbatore and nearby regions with cancer consultation, personalised treatment planning, regular monitoring and follow-up guidance. The centre is expected to help patients and families who often face delays due to lack of clarity around reports, treatment pathways, second opinions and continuity of care.
Cancer Healer Center follows an immunology-informed approach to cancer care, with emphasis on understanding each patient’s disease profile, immunity, medical history, treatment response and overall quality of life. The Coimbatore centre will provide structured support to patients through personalised care pathways, follow-up assistance and compassionate guidance during the course of treatment.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Tarang Krishna, Managing Director, Cancer Healer Center, said, “Cancer care is not only about treatment; it is also about timely guidance, clarity and continuous support for patients and their families. Many patients lose valuable time because they are unsure about symptoms, diagnosis, reports or the next step in their care journey. With our Coimbatore centre, our aim is to bring structured, patient-centric and immunology-informed cancer care closer to people in western Tamil Nadu and nearby regions.”
He further added, “Tamil Nadu has a significant cancer burden, and the need for awareness, early diagnosis and regular follow-up cannot be overlooked. Through this centre, we hope to support patients with timely consultation and help families navigate cancer care with greater confidence.”
The Coimbatore centre will also contribute to Cancer Healer Center’s wider efforts to promote awareness around early warning signs, risk factors, timely medical attention and the importance of consistent follow-up. The organisation believes that accessible consultation and care guidance can play an important role in reducing delays and helping patients take informed decisions.
With this launch, Cancer Healer Center has strengthened its presence in Tamil Nadu and continues its focus on making cancer care more accessible, personalised and continuous for patients across India.
