Chennai: Casagrand’s ‘Battle of Brains’ 2025, Chennai’s grandest inter-school quiz competition of the year wrapped up with an energetic grand finale, crowning students from B V Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidhyashram School as the city’s new quiz champions. Organized by Casagrand in association with Nexus Consulting, the finale brought together hundreds of enthusiastic students, parents and teachers. Winners across categories were honoured with trophies and exciting prizes worth ₹4 lakh, marking a memorable finish to one of the city’s most exciting student events.
The event was graced by the presence of Celebrated Indian Television Anchor Mr Gopinath, as the esteemed chief guest alongside Mr Gautam Agarwaal, Chief Operating Officer, Casagrand and quizmaster Mr Venkatesh Srinivasan, founder of Nexus Consulting.
Casagrand’s Battle of Brains witnessed an overall participation of 800+ students from Grades 6 to 9 across 100+ schools in Chennai, all vying for the prestigious Battle of Brains trophy. The contest unfolded in two power-packed phases, beginning with Zonal Rounds conducted across North, Central, South and West Chennai. The top three teams from every Zonal Finale progressed to the Semifinals, held in two intense batches of six teams each. In an exciting twist, Casagrand also opened registrations for a Wildcard Round, drawing active participation from students. The finale brought together the best teams from B V Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidhyashram, PSBB KK Nagar and Sandipani Vidyalaya schools, who secured the first, second and third positions respectively.

Curated and conducted by renowned quizmaster Venkatesh Srinivasan, the finale featured dynamic rounds covering science, current affairs, culture, visual problem-solving and a dedicated Chennai connect segment that drew loud cheers from the audience.
