Kokrajhar, April 26: BTR chief executive member Pramod Boro on Wednesday (26 April) inaugurated a stall of Bodoland Mart under the ‘One Station, One Product’ scheme at Kokrajhar Railway Station in Kokrajhar
The Mart has been installed by ASRLM, Kokrajhar in association with the District Administration. The mart will consist of indigenously hand crafted products created by local Self Help Groups.
The One Station, One Product’ scheme, an ambitious initiative of PM Shri Narendra Modi is aimed at promoting traditional industries and crafts at the railway station level.
The BTR CEM said the scheme will encourage local entrepreneurship and help in preserving the traditional cultural heritage of the region.
