Union Government today said that incidents related to stubble burning have been reduced to 54 per cent in the last three years.
Replying to the questions during the Question Hour in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Kailash Choudhary said, the government is making efforts to make the farmers aware and not to burn stubble and use it as fertilizer.
