Chhattisgarh CM accuses Assam counterpart of making unfounded allegations

 From Bhupen Goswami

GUWAHATI : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made a big allegation against the Chief Minister of Assam at a press conference in Guwahati on Thursday. Baghel said that the Sonowal government is seeking votes in the name of cow smuggling. All over the country, the BJP seeks votes in the name of cow, he alleged.

He has also been spreading communal violence in the name of cow protection. But the fact is that the cow smuggling syndicate is going on under the umbrella of the BJP government in Assam. The syndicate has blossomed so much that there is an uninterrupted supply of cow dynasty in the border Bangladesh and the export of cow meat from Bangladesh all over the world has increased manifold. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Baghel said that the BJP government was formed in Assam in 2016 and bangladesh meat exports increased by 211 per cent in the year 2018. However, the government of Sarbananda Sonowal often claims to seize cows often in the name of preventing cow smuggling. The Government should tell you which cows have been kept in the state if the cows have been confiscated. In the presence of Assam Pradesh Congress media secretary Babita Sharma Lok Sabha MP Abdul Khalek, the chief minister of Chhattisgarh has said that I have heard that the BJP government has given the monitoring work to the veterinary department instead of the police to allow cow smuggling to continue. We all understand how the veterinary department will be monitoring it. Now, former union minister and BJP MP Maneka Gandhi has also raised this issue.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Baghel said that there is not only cow smuggling, the BJP government is also running coal brokerage and other syndicate. The Sonowal government has broken all the records in selling illegal coal. He and where people are telling that at least 500 truckloads of coal are being manipulated every day. Baghel said that in his vision document of 2016, the BJP had promised the people of Assam that it would employ 4 lakh 60 thousand youths every year. My question to Sarbananda Sonowal is to come to the public and tell us how many youths of Assam got employment during their tenure, how many unemployed persons got work? In my knowledge, there were more than 16.42 lakh registered unemployed in Assam between 2016 and 2018 and the number increased to more than 20 lakh in 2020! In just two years, the BJP government snatched employment from about 4.5 lakh Assamese. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Baghel said that we have shown the tax in Chhattisgarh as to how our people are concerned even in the critical times. You can also see the figures of the BJP government’s time and see how much the unemployment rate declined even during the Corona period after our government came from the Congress policy.

Baghel said that the double engine, the BJP government in Assam and its second engine in Delhi, was only engaged in fighting the people in the basis of religion, caste and creed and playing with the sentiments of the people. I would like to tell the people of Assam that our leader Rahul Gandhi has promised a house full of tea plantation workers to fulfil it in the same way as rahul ji’s direction, we waived off the farmers ‘ debts in our first cabinet within two hours in Chhattisgarh, promised to buy paddy at MSP and also the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana to the farmer for ten per acre. Thousand rupees are also being given. This dummy is the parting of the government of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. The people of Assam are determined to make the enemy people of the interests of the youth of this region now seated at home in their mutual goodwill, mutual brotherhood and the enemies of peace of the state. It is an election to liberate the BJP from the BJP’s eclipse on Assamese identity. The people of Assam have all understood. He has been regretting for the past five years that he voted for the BJP. The Congress is going to form a majority government with its coalition colleagues.
