Chief Election Commissioner says various initiatives have been taken to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections in Mizoram

New Delhi: Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar has said that various initiatives have been taken to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections in Mizoram. Addressing a Press conference in Aizawl, he further said that the Commission will ensure level playing field for all candidates. The Chief Election Commissioner said that the final electoral rolls will be published in October.

An 18-member ECI team arrived in Aizawl yesterday for a three-day visit.
