Kokrajhar: Assam chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma in presence of MoS for Textile & Railways Darshana Vikram Jardosh and BTR CEM Pramod Boro today inaugurated the newly constructed Information Technology (IT) park at Chandamari in Kokrajhar district.
Designed in the shape of a ship, the four storeyed IT park with fully functional IT infrastructure with facilities for online examination, ready built up govt office, digital India office, ready built up private office space, training room, auditorium hall, digital library, multimedia office, build in space on lease, cafeteria etc. The IT park was conducted at a cost of Rs 34 crores.
The chief minister later had an interaction session with the students of Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar, Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Bodoland University.
Ministers Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Ashok Singhal, chief executive member of Karbi Anglong Tuliram Ronghang, MLAs and executive members were also present in the program.
