CM Chouhan holds discussion with Balaghat Collector and SP in Gondia

Bhopal: Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the state government will make special facilities available in the Left Wing Extremism (LWE) affected areas of the state, so that these areas can be properly developed, law and order can be strengthened and employment opportunities can be made easily available to the local people here.

Chief Minister  Chouhan was reviewing arrangements in Naxal affected (Left Extremism affected) areas with the Collector and Superintendent of Police of Balaghat district in Gondia today.

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that 200 days work will be given in place of 100 days in a year to MNREGA labourers in Left Wing Extremism affected areas including Baihar, Birsa, Paraswara, Lanji development blocks of Balaghat district. Special recruitment drive will be conducted locally for the Scheduled Tribes category of Baiga etc.

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that a special plan will be made for road connectivity in Left Wing Extremism affected areas and mobile network will be strengthened in the areas where network is not available. Skill development programmes will be organized to promote special skills in these areas. In addition to this, arrangements will be made to provide market to local products of these areas.
