CM Chouhan performs gau-pujan for the state and global welfare

Bhopal: Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday performed gau-pujan for the welfare of the state and world, at the cow sanctuary built in Salaria near Susner in Agar Malwa district. Chief Minister  Chouhan also extended greetings on the occasion of the festival of Gopashtami to everyone after the pujan.

The gau-puja was performed under the guidance of Pandit Balaram Vyas of Susner at Salaria sanctuary. Meanwhile, information about the special significance of gau-puja on Gopashtami festival was given. It was on this day that Lord  Krishna grazed cattle for the first time. The muhurat was given by Maharishi Shandilya. Since then the festival of Gopashtami is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm. Pandit Dilip Deshmukh, Pandit Shiv Narayan Vyas, Pandit Vishal Vyas, Pandit Mukesh Vyas and Pandit Lakhan Vyas chanted Vedic mantras during the puja-archana. The pujan started with Swasti Vaachan, followed by Gauri Ganesh Pujan, Rudra Pujan, Gopal Pujan and methodical worship of 11 cows by Chief Minister  Chouhan. After the gau-pujan, Chief Minister  Chouhan also inspected the manufacturing unit of cow-made products in the sanctuary complex.

Minister for Animal Husbandry Minister  Premsingh Patel, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Dr. Mahendra Singh Sisodia, Swami  Akhileshwaranandji, Dr. Avdhesh Puri Ji Maharaj, former Chairman of Gau-Samvardhan Board and former Rajya Sabha Member  Meghraj Jain, MP Dewas-Shajapur  Mahendra Singh Solanki, MP Rajgarh  Rodmal Nagar, MLA Susner  Vikram Singh Rana and other public representatives, officers and other dignitaries associated with gau-seva were present on the occasion.

CM  Chouhan performs bhoomi pujan of construction works

Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed bhoomi pujan of five construction works worth Rs 36 lakh 55 thousand at the Salaria cow sanctuary in Agar-Malwa district on Sunday.

Works for which bhoomi pujan was held include construction of new pond Kamdhenu Faraspura, Farsapura check dam enroute to Semli, near the Dugout Pond Construction Research Centre and cow sanctuary Fasarpur near residential complex and contour trench construction work near the road to the gaushala.
