CM Chouhan reviews implementation of Atmanirbhar roadmap

Bhopal: Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Rozgar Setu portal in Madhya Pradesh should be expanded to make it more effective in seeking employment. Other labourers will also be registered and benefitted under the Rozgar Setu portal which promoted about 44 thousand migrant labourers financially during the Corona crisis. A Shramodaya Vidyalaya should be opened where there is a system of education only for the children of labourers without any caste or community basis. Efforts should be made to develop talent in this school by making arrangements as per the Super-30 concept.

Chief Minister  Chouhan said this while seeking information about the activities being carried out by the departments after construction of the road map of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh under Atmanirbhar Bharat today. Chief Secretary  Iqbal Singh Bains was also present in the meeting.

Review of 21 departments conducted, 3700 activities held

Chief Minister  Chouhan congratulated the Chief Secretary for conducting regular reviews of the departments’ activities. Chief Minister  Chouhan said that 21 out of 35 departments have been reviewed which is a matter of satisfaction. Departments have completed 918 activities and 2780 sub-activities. The Department of Energy has performed the maximum of 146 activities. Chief Minister  Chouhan said that he himself will talk to one department every week. Chief Minister  Chouhan said that as it was decided in the Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh webinars in the month of September that it is not only rituals, it is also a concrete step towards public welfare. We are working fast accordingly. Chief Minister  Chouhan said that we will definitely achieve the goal of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh within the time limit. Chief Minister  Chouhan instructed to complete the works within the time-limit.

Major activities of departments

On this occasion it was told that various activities of departments have been done under Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. These works include strengthening the transmission system under the Department of Energy, quality power supply, scientific traffic survey of 200 roads under the Public Works Department, initiative to start road asset management system, computerization of all toll plazas, development of world class industrial infrastructure development under micro, small and medium enterprises department, development of 19 special clusters and identification of new clusters in the state, establishing the state as a start-up development hub, developing 100 new start ups associated with agriculture and food processing and excellence award in trade commerce, developing one nation one market under agriculture, efforts for GI tagging of Pipariya Tuar and other products including Sharbati wheat, development of one thousand climate adapted villages, increase in productivity of crops and continuous development of FPO.  

Coordination should be maintained with Government of India

Chief Minister  Chouhan sought information about the works being done by Small, Micro-Medium Enterprises Department, Labour Department, Energy Department, Public Works and Narmada Valley Development Department. Chief Minister  Chouhan instructed the departments of the Government of India to make necessary coordination. Chief Minister  Chouhan also gave instructions for inter-departmental coordination to achieve the target.
