Lucknow : Concord Control Systems Limited (BSE: CNCRD), India’s leading manufacturer of embedded electronic systems and critical electronic solutions company, today announced that its associate company, Progota India Private Limited, has received an order worth Rs. 279.90 crore from Indian Railways for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of on-board KAVACH 4.0 loco equipment.
The order is domestic in nature and is to be executed within 12 months. The company said the development marks another important milestone in its participation in India’s railway safety and signalling ecosystem.
KAVACH is India’s indigenous automatic train protection system, designed to enhance operational safety by helping prevent signal passing at danger and reducing the risk of collisions. Through this order, Concord and its associate Progota India Private Limited will contribute to the deployment of this critical railway safety technology.
