The rich culinary heritage of Maharashtra takes centre stage at The Hebbal Cafe, Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, with Saat Pakkruti Maharashtra. An exclusive culinary festival by Executive Chef Kalpesh Kature. Celebrating the state’s seven distinctive culinary traditions, the festival invites guests to explore its diverse flavours, vibrant spices and time-honoured recipes. Taking place from 25th to 30th September. The festival explores the flavours of the coastal delicacies from Konkan to the rustic flavours of Vidarbha, the royal influences of Marathwada and the hearty fare of Western Maharashtra, bringing together the authentic essence of Maharashtrian cuisine.
Curated by the Executive Chef Kalpesh Kature himself, the buffet offers a selection of traditional favourites that capture the bold and comforting delicacies of Maharashtra’s cuisine. Guests can savour Bharli Vangi, Kolhapuri Tambda Rassa, Misal Pav, Kothimbir Vadi and Sol Kadhi, followed by the indulgent sweetness of Puran Poli. Each dish reflects the distinctive ingredients, cooking styles and culinary traditions passed down through generations, offering a flavourful introduction to the state’s diverse gastronomic landscape.
The festival will also feature a Saat Pakkruti Maharashtra brunch on 27th September to uplift the celebration further with a hearty spread of specialities, including Kolhapuri Mutton, Varan Bhaat, Saoji Chicken, Sabudana Vada and Puran Poli. Bringing together rustic preparations, regional favourites and festive indulgences.
