Haflong : Requesting to take necessary action to curb attacks on Bharatiya Janata
Party workers which has been happening in Assam in recent days, the Dima Hasao BJP submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister, Assam through the Deputy Commissioner Dima Hasao on Friday.
The memorandum signed by Smti Bonani Kemprai,Vice- President, BJP, Dima Hasao maintained that he was well aware of the fact that the Bharatiya Janata Partykaryakartas were working relentlessly towards nation building and to carry forward the massage of “Antodaya & Integral Humanism” among the masses. But in a recent trend, there are attacks on BJP workers by the Congress and Leftists sympathizers across the State of Assam. These anti social activists have started to take law in their own hands in the name of democratic agitation. They have already started to threaten the life and property of BJP workers in the name of opposing the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
Mentionable here that on the last 27th January 2019 there were attacks BJP workers at Nalbari and on 30th January 2019 they have physically attacked Shri Lankeshwar Moran, the District president of BJP Tinsukia District in broad day light. Mr. Moran was very lucky to escape with his life in the said incident.
They also condemned that barbaric act with strongest word and urged him to take necessary step to contain such act of violence and also demand stringent punishment for those found guilty.
