Guwahathi: Tremors were felt near Mokokchung in Nagaland. This information was given by the National Centre for Seismology. The earthquake struck at 8.59 am. Its intensity measured 4.4 on the Richter scale. According to sources, apart from Nagaland, tremors have been mainly felt in Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao and Golaghat districts of Assam. However, there are no reports of any damage caused by the earthquake. At the time of the earthquake, 26.69 north and latitude 91.15 degrees east was the center of the earthquake at 8.59 am at a depth of 10 km. Nongstoin in Meghalaya is 81 km away from Guwahati, the capital of Nongstoin Assam
