GrandQueens Leadership Awards 2024, Presented to 48 Women Leaders At A Glittering Ceremony!
Hyderabad: Lions Club of Hyderabad Yuva, Dist 320A celebrated the Season 5 of the prestigious GrandQueens Leadership Awards 2023, brought to you by Celebration Makers supported by Rainbow Children’s Hospital which felicitated Forty Eight most influential and promising women at a glittering ceremony to commemorate International Women’s Day, today, at Club Botanika, Gachibowli.
The ceremony was graced by His Excellency Dr Mir Nawab Nasir Ali Khan as the Chief Guest. Also present were Guest of Honour Lion Harinarayan Bhattad, District Governor, Lions Dist 320A, Lion CA M K Purohit, Lions International GMT Coordinator, MD 320, Dr Preethi Reddy G, Consultant (Fertility) from Rainbow Hospital, Lion Suresh Jagnani, GLT Coordinator, Dist 320A & Mr Darpan Vasudev, Motivational Speaker; attended as Special Invitees.
Mr Yashwant Agarwal, Director, Koncept Ambience; Dr S. Ravinder, Dr Ashish Chauhan, Mr Vishesh Sinha, Ms Vandana Shete, Ms Aanchal Agarwal, Dr Zia Husm and many other profound guests elevated the event with their presence.
The Awards Convenor & Founder Dr Saurabh Sureka and Co-founder Mrs Rupa Sureka have been working on this concept of GrandQueens Club for 7 years and have formed a wonderful community of Women Achievers & Leaders. The nomination for Awards are invited from 108 identified fields of work and is in its 5th year. The Awards were started in Hyderabad in 2020 and has been traveling all India since then. The Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Patna & Ajmer editions of the Grand Queens will be hosted in this month itself. The Award has its winners from various other countries as well, viz Bangladesh, UAE, UK, USA, Singapore & Belgium as well.
GrandQueens Club is a forum of all working women across various fields and age groups to come together to Network, Collaborate and Grow. They have introduced various activities and initiatives like GrandQueens Confluence, GrandQueens Talent Walk & Grand Home Chef India, etc to increase collaborations among the GrandQueens.
Also, “Charkha Foundation” an initiative by Dr Saurabh Sureka to promote handlooms, organised a graceful ramp walk by 15 GrandQueens representing various states of India, showcasing Beauty of Bharat wearing Handloom Sarees. The Saree Walk was Choreographed by Celebrity Fashion Director, Mr Srikanth Gatala and Beauty partner was RJ Splendour Beauty Academy.
The GrandQueens Community consists now of more than 200 GrandQueens in Hyderabad alone and among them they have identified 9 GrandQueens who have been shortlisted by a rigorous process for a special title “Queen of GrandQueens”
They are Ms Anika Khara, Ms Chhaya Sharma, Ms Kritika Sharma, Ms Praveen Naidu Thota, Dr Sudha Jain, Dr Shipra Gandhi, Dr Tulasi KB, Ms Pallavi Walia Raj, Ms Tina Sequeira.
Following is the list of 48 Awardees. The winners are categorized in to 4 categories of Youngstar, those who just started their career/work and are below 25 years of age; Torchbearer in the age group of 25-35 and spent at least 3 to 7 years in their domain; Leaders are between 35 to 50 years of age and spent at least 10 to 15 years in their domain and achieved milestones and Stalwarts are of 50 years or above in age and spent at least 25 Years in their domain.
