In Gujarat, 1310 new cases of Covid19 recorded during the past 24 hours. The recovery rate has further improved to 80.73 percent. More than 24 lakh 9 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date, out of which 78070 tests were carried out yesterday.
Out of 1310 new cases, the maximum 289 new cases reported from Surat city and district. Ahmedabad recorded 145 cases, while Jamnagar recorded 97 cases during the last 24 hours.
Total cases of Covid19 in the state have gone up to 97745. At present 15796 active cases in the state, out of which 92 patients are on ventilator. At the other end, 1131 patients have been discharged from various hospitals after recovery.
Total patients recovered from Covid19 have gone up to 78913. 14 patients have lost their lives yesterday, taking the total death due to Covid19 in the state up to 3036. Meanwhile, 125 laborers found Covid19 positive from a construction site in Ahmedabad.
