Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that health is included among the main pillars of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. All measures to improve health facilities and arrangements must be taken. Seeking information about the power failure in the Corona ward of Hamidia Hospital, Bhopal, he issued directions for a detailed investigation of the case. Chief Minister Chouhan said that facts should be kept in front of everyone. If there are any shortcomings, then they should be removed.
Health Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Manish Rastogi, Divisional Commissioner Kavindra Kiyawat, Public Relations Commissioner Dr. Sudam Khade and other officials were present in the meeting of the Health department held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chouhan.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the entire system in the health sector should be strengthened. In the first phase, management of medical college hospitals must be handed over to management experts. Doctors must attend only to medical work. In the next phase, the same system should be implemented in district hospitals. In big hospitals, by giving different responsibilities for management and treatment, the entire system of the hospital will improve and the general public will get better medical facilities
.Chief Minister Chouhan said that the public should get better treatment and facilities in both private sector and government hospitals. Efforts essential for this should also be made. He said that the state government will provide necessary funds in the field of health. There will be no dearth of budget. Maximum help will be taken from the Government of India. The available resources must be utilized to the maximum and increased as and when needed. Schemes should be implemented as per the action plan of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Certain decisions must be taken immediately to improve management in the hospitals and long term planning must also be made in this direction.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the autonomous system of government hospitals should be discussed and reconsidered.
