Kochi: Rain continues in northern parts of Kerala. Widespread damage is being reported in Thiruvananthapuram. Fishing ban is posed in Kerala Lakshadweep coast.

As rain continues Holiday has been declared for all educational institutions in Thiruvananthapuram today. PSC exams to be held today and tomorrow in Thiruvananthapuram is also postponed. Holiday has also being declared in schools in Kottayam districts which are affected by flood and those where relief camps are operational. Met dept forecasts high waves and storms in Kerala coast today.
