His Rising Star Keeps Rising as Ticktin Law Group’s Michael Vater Receives Yet Another Super Lawyers Rising Star Award, His Sixth

Since 2019, Vater has been an annual recipient of the Rising Star Award distributed by Super Lawyers. The company, which is a part of Thomas Reuters, operates as a rating service for outstanding lawyers across over 70 practice areas. The Rising Stars Award is given to top attorneys who have been practicing for over 10 years and who are under the age of 40. He’s been lead counsel in more than 1600 cases, litigating more than 100 Jury and Non-Jury Trials. Vater has taken cases to Trial which have resulted in over a million dollars of damages awarded for his clients. Vater has also been masterful at resolving cases at mediation through his methods of aggressively litigating his cases.

Vater attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he received the Certificate of Excellence for Pro Bono work with Community Legal Services, a Certificate of Distinction for Community Service Participation and served as a two-time Representative to the John Marshall Bar Association.  Additionally, he completed coursework in International Business Law in Paris and Montpellier, France through the Universite Montpellier II and earned his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Vater earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame majoring in Government and International Studies with a minor from the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies.
