Hyderabad : After Hosa’s resounding success in Goa and Gurugram, EHV International, the company behind award-winning restaurants including Indian Accent, Comorin, Fireback, Barback, Chor Bizarre and Drift, is delighted to announce the launch of Hosa Hyderabad at The Loft, RMZ Nexity. Hosa, which means ‘new’ in Kannada, explores South Indian cuisine beyond the familiar, with dishes that straddle the five southernmost states of India spotlighting coastal and regional flavours, accompanied by tropical-inspired cocktails and an extensive wine list. The Hosa Filter Coffee Club, a curated coffee experience which runs in the afternoon between lunch and dinner hours, also comes to Hosa Hyderabad following its much-loved editions in Goa and Gurugram.

Under the leadership of Brand Chef, Harish Rao, the menu explores regional traditions across the South, through refined techniques, seasonal ingredients, and contemporary presentation while preserving the soul of every dish. The Hosa menu goes way beyond the familiar, offering bold and indulgent flavours including small plates like Shimeji Mushroom Varuval and Roti Canai, Pesto Curry Leaf Snapper Ceviche, and Kari Dosa with a Bone Marrow Hollandaise. Larger plates, such as the Aubergine Steak, bring depth and richness to the table. Cocktails borrow from tiki and modern traditions, with a creative edge and house-made infusions, while an extensive wine list completes a beverage programme designed to complement the food.

The Hyderabad menu introduces a number of exclusive creations, inspired by Andhra and Telengana’s rich culinary diversity, while continuing to feature several of Hosa’s most celebrated signature offerings. Among the new highlights are several vegetarian options including Jackfruit Igguru, Aubergine Steak, and Okra Butter Bean Curry. Non-vegetarian specialties include Paper Fish Curry, wrapped and served with a vibrant Pulusu; Rayalaseema Brain Fry, Garelu Chicken Curry and the indulgent Kapi Tres Leches, our innovative South Indian twist on the Italian classic.

“At Hosa, it is all about honest South Indian cooking that is plated well and deserves to be experienced in all its complexity and diversity” says Brand Chef Harish Rao. “For Hyderabad, we’ve created a special menu that celebrates regional traditions while introducing flavours and techniques that feel fresh and unexpected. Every dish holds the memories and stories of a place, while remaining unmistakably Hosa.”

Complementing the menu is an equally thoughtful beverage programme crafted by EHV International’s Head of Bars, Varun Sharma. Inspired by the flavours and ingredients of South India, the cocktail menu looks at regional favourites, featuring house-made cordials, shrubs and tinctures alongside ingredients such as kokum, nannari, curry leaf, banana leaf, jaggery, coconut, Guntur chilli and filter coffee. Highlights include the sparkling Hosa 75, the refreshing Rum Kokum Cola, the aromatic Panakam, the bold Black Pepper Penicillin, the coffee-forward Kaapi Time, and signatures such as Soul Kadhi and Chica Bonita. Designed to pair seamlessly with Hosa’s South Indian cuisine, the cocktail programme is vibrant, layered and deeply rooted in the flavours of the region.

Head of Wines Kevin Rodrigues has carefully closed a wine list to complement bold, spice-forward regional South Indian profiles (such as Ghee Roasts, Roti Canai, and Madurai Lamb Shank) through acidity, fruit-forward notes, and controlled tannins. The labels include crisp whites, aromatic rosés, light-to-medium reds, and sparkling wines designed to stand up to complex spices without overpowering the food.

A defining feature of the Hyderabad outpost is the launch of the Hosa Filter Coffee Club, a thoughtfully curated coffee experience that places the ritual of South Indian filter kaapi at the heart of the restaurant. Designed as a slow, sensory pause within the dining experience the club reimagines coffee not as a quick beverage but as a moment to linger, connect and savour.

At Hosa, this tradition comes alive at a beautiful stand / cart located right outside the restaurant. Filter coffee has long been woven into everyday life across South India—patiently brewed, generously shared and central to conversations across generations. The Hosa Filter Coffee Club presents a rotating selection of signature brews, including Classic Filter Coffee and Filter Coffee Frappes in exciting variations like Strawberry Cake, Hazelnut, Monsoon Malabar, and single-estate offerings, each reflecting the diversity of South India’s coffee culture. These are complemented by a considered selection of traditional bites such as pakoras, murukku sandwich, and sweet bites like banana and jaggery cake and filter coffee tiramisu, creating a balanced and nostalgic pairing. The Hosa Filter Coffee Club runs from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm between Hosa’s lunch and dinner hours.

Rohit Khattar, Founder Chairman, EHV International, says: “When we created the Hosa concept, our vision was to celebrate the extraordinary diversity of South Indian cuisine while remaining deeply respectful of its traditions. Hyderabad is a city with a rich culinary heritage and a growing appetite for thoughtful, progressive dining experiences. We hope the city welcomes Hosa with the same warmth and excitement as they did with our other recent openings of Fireback and Barback. All have found their home in The Loft, an artistic building owned and designed by RMZ into an expansive, social, cultural, and premium workspace hub unlike any other in the city.”

Designed by Russell Sage Studio, London, with architectural design and services by Incubis, Gurugram, Hosa’s interiors reinterpret the brand’s coastal origins, blending warmth, playfulness and sophistication in equal measure. Quaint and contemporary design elements create a charming daytime ambience that transforms into a livelier milieu at night.

Hosa’s journey began in Siolim, Goa, where the first outpost housed in a beautifully restored 100-year-old Portuguese bungalow opposite St. Anthony’s Church. It has received widespread national and international accolades including recognition from Asia’s 50 Best Discovery and design awards for Rohini Kapur’s stunning design which she adapted when Hosa expanded to Gurugram. Hosa Gurugram has established itself as one of the city’s most sought-after dining destinations in a very short span. Each Hosa restaurant carries the brand’s signature tropical sensibility while responding thoughtfully to its unique setting, creating spaces that feel both rooted and distinctly contemporary. End-to-end project management has been completed by EHV International’s Director of Development Vikas Bhasin with operations led by COO, Nitin Mathur and team.
