Noida: Institute of Management Studies, Noida, hosted a Kavi Sammelan event. The Kavi Sammelan was organized with the aim of promoting and preserving the rich tradition of poetry in our country. The occasion was graced by a famous poet, Neel Gorakhpuri. Dr. Kulneet Suri, Senior Director of IMS Noida was also present at the event.
During the event, students from different clubs showcased their talent, recited poems in various languages, including Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and Bengali, and enthralled the audience with their soulful and thought-provoking poetry. The poets presented their poems on a variety of themes, ranging from love and spirituality to social and political issues. Neel Gorakhpuri delivered remarks that both inspired and made everyone laugh. The winners were given trophies and recognition.
Dr. Kulneet Suri, Senior Director of IMS Noida, bestowed badges on eleven students. Speaking on this, she said, “We are grateful for the overwhelming response from the students and hope to host more such events in the future. Kavi-Sammelan provided an opportunity for the students to engage with the rich cultural heritage of our country and appreciate the beauty of poetry. Events like this give students a stage to come together and represent their values and thoughts using various modes.”
