In Assam, seven people were killed and nine others seriously injured in an ambulance and tempo collision

Guwahati : Seven people were killed and nine others seriously injured in an ambulance and tempo collision in Assam. Police sources said, seven people were killed and nine seriously injured in separate accidents in Assam. Police said, tempos and ambulances collided late on Friday night at Baihata Chariali in Kamrup (rural) district. Four people were killed and eight others seriously injured in the incident. A police official said two persons died on the spot after the accident while two others later succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.

The injured including the ambulance driver have been admitted to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital. In another accident, a vehicle hit a motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction after the collision. The incident took place at Amzonga in Dudhnoi police station area of Golpara district. Another official said two of the three motorcycle riders died on the spot while the third is hospitalized. In another incident, another scooter rider was killed when a truck hit him in Silpukhuri area of Guwahati.
