In MP All eligible tribals will get pattas of occupied land

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has on Wednesday said that all eligible tribals will be provided pattas on their occupied land. In Kirantal area, 20 years ago, the local Patwari fraudulently distributed fake pattas to innocent Baiga tribals, made their fake ledgers but did not record their names in the government records. In this case, not only will strict action be taken against all the guilty persons, but all eligible Baiga tribals will be given the pattas of their occupied land soon after completing legal action. Injustice with the poor and tribals will not be tolerated.

Chouhan said this during a surprise inspection of Kirantal area of Umaria district today. He organized a chaupal in the village and listened to the problems of each tribal and resolved it. Tribal Welfare Minister Sushri Meena Singh, and Shivnarayan Singhn MLA Bandhavgarh were present on the occasion.

Patwari has also been to jail

Villagers told Chief Minister Shri Chouhan that in the year 1999-2000, the Patwari took money from 21 tribals and made their fake pattas but did not register in the land records. In this case, the Patwari has also been to jail. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed to conduct a detailed investigation in the case.

About 75 tribals have occupied the land since long

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was informed that there are about 75 such tribals in the village are occupying government land since a long time. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that in this regard, the S.D.M. and tehsildar should take necessary legal action and provide pattas to all eligible tribals.

Camp should be organized on Monday

The Chief Minister directed that a government camp should be organized in the village on Monday, in which the problems of each tribal should be heard and resolved. The Government of Madhya Pradesh is a government of the poor, the deprived and the tribals. We cannot allow any injustice to them. Every tribal will get the rights due to him.
