Electronics and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said India will become a trillion dollar digital economy in the next two to three years.
Mr Prasad was addressing the 91st Annual General Meeting of FICCI.
The Minister said, the ‘Digital India’ programme is politics-neutral, centre-state-neutral and ideology-neutral, resulting into large-scale adoption of digital technology.
He said India missed the industrial and entreprenurial revolution in the past due to various reasons.
Mr Prasad said India does not want to miss the digital revolution which is designed to transform the country and to bridge the urban-rural divide.
