Jaipuria School of Business (JSB), Ghaziabad, celebrated a momentous occasion as it hosted its 15th Convocation Ceremony. The event marked the successful graduation of 224 students from the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Batch of 2024–2026, signifying not only academic achievement but also a new beginning filled with promise and purpose.
The convocation was graced by Mr. Shreekant Somany, Chairman & MD of Somany Ceramics Limited, who was also the Chief Guest. In his Convocation Address, Mr. Shreekant Somany encouraged the graduating students to embrace lifelong learning, emphasizing that knowledge is infinite and continuous learning is the key to growth.
He said, “As you step out today, remember one thing, you are not entering the workforce, you are shaping the future of this country. Every standard you uphold and every decision you make will contribute to how India is seen by the world.”
Delivering the Presidential Address, Chairman of Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions, Mr. Shishir Jaipuria congratulated the graduating batch and their proud parents on this significant milestone. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between professional and personal life while staying grounded in humility, gratitude, and ethical values. Mr. Vinod Malhotra, Member of the Governing Board, emphasised on the importance of giving back to society and encouraged the students to be a force for good.
The Annual Report of Jaipuria School of Business was presented by Dr. Tapan Kr. Nayak, Director, Jaipuria School of Business, Ghaziabad, highlighting the institute’s achievements during the year, including academic excellence, strong industry engagement, research contributions, student accomplishments, and institutional development initiatives.
The highlight of the ceremony was the conferral of diplomas to the graduating students, alongside special awards recognizing outstanding academic excellence. The gold medal was awarded to Geetali Suneja, silver medal to Niharika Garg, bronze medal collectively to Anushka Sharma and Piyush Kumar. The Best Girl Student Award was given to Geetali Suneja. The Dr. Rajaram Jaipuria Achievers’ Award was conferred on the esteemed alumna, PGDM Batch (2016-18) Shivangi Tyagi.
The celebration brought together parents, alumni, faculty, board members, and eminent guests from industry and academia, all gathered to honour the hard work, dedication, and aspirations of the graduating class.
