JCBL South Manufactures 1,000 CSC Certified Containers for GE Vernova’s US Renewable Energy Market
JCBL South has manufactured and delivered 1,000 20-foot CSC Certified Containers to US-headquartered energy multinational GE Vernova. Developed entirely for 100% export to the United States, the order marks one of JCBL South’s largest international clean energy infrastructure manufacturing projects to date.
JCBL South, a JCBL Group Company based in Oragadam, specialises in heavy fabrication and engineered manufacturing solutions. The company executed the order for GE Vernova’s Grid Solutions business and manufactured the containers to house Flex Inverter systems used in Hybrid Renewable Power Stations. The power stations are a critical component of GE Vernova’s renewable energy infrastructure portfolio.
The entire project was executed in-house at the facility. This included design, fabrication, assembly, painting, testing, and final dispatch. The units were manufactured to meet stringent global standards for quality, safety, and operational performance.
To deliver the project at scale, the company established a dedicated production line. Over the course of the project, the company improved production planning efficiencies and significantly reduced rework levels.The project also led to focused workforce capability development. Teams underwent specialised training in sealant and paint operations to maintain consistency and finish quality across all 1,000 units.
