In Jammu & Kashmir, the MeT department has predicted more wet weather across the State. MeT director Sonam Lotus said that light to moderate rain is likely to occur in the plains of Jammu region while snowfall may occur at most parts of the state during next 24 hrs.
Meanwhile, the strategic Srinagar Jammu National Highway has been closed on both sides in view of bad weather and road condition. Traffic officials advised travellers to confirm the status of the road from traffic control units before travelling on the highway.
