Thiruvanathapuram: Sixth Additional Sessions Judge K. Vishnu on Friday dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of the Kattakada KSRT employees accused of attacking a father and daughter at the station premise.

The prosecution argued in the court that the custody of the accused is essential to collect samples including audio and visuals from the accused for scientific examination of the footage of the beating of the daughter and father. The daughter, a degree student had come along with her father to the Kattakada KSTC Bus depot to renew her bus concession and the accused allegedly attached both.

Public Prosecutor M. Salahuddin appeared for the prosecution.

The court rejected the bail application of Ahmeddali son Mohammad Sharif (52), Parameswaran Pillai son Milan Dorich (45), Narayanan Poti son Anilkumar (49), Suresh Kumar and Ajikumar, workshop worker, all employess of Kattakkada KSRTC depot.

Prosecution argued in the court that the accused, who are government employees, do not deserve anticipatory bail for causing severe psychological trauma to the daughter and the father by criminally assaulting the father, the complainant, in presence of his young daughter who is student.
