Vijayawada: KL Deemed-to-be University, one of the leading Universities in the country for graduation and higher education has showcased significant growth in the ‘THE World University Rankings 2023’, in its quest of chasing the pinnacle of educational success. The largest and most diverse university rankings, which include close to 1,800 universities across 104 countries and regions, records KL Deemed to be University’s grand entrance to the Top 801-1000 Rank in the World and the Top 23rd Rank in the country. In comparison to 2022 Rankings, the university has ascended the scholastic ladder, moving from Rank 1001-1200 in 2022 to Rank 801-1000 in 2023.
The ranking attains paramount significance as the quality of Indian education is at stake. The rankings are based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across five areas: teaching, research, citations, knowledge transfer, and international outlook. This year’s ranking analyzed over 121 million citations across more than 15.5 million research publications and included survey responses from 40,000 scholars globally. Overall, over 680,000 data points were from more than 2,500 institutions that submitted data.

The rankings are based on the several performance indicators that include reputation survey, academic staff to students’ ratio, Research volumes, publications, research influence, international outlook, knowledge transfer and so on. In particular, the University has scored extremely well in terms of Field Weighted Citation Impact.
Claiming these incredible rankings, notably, KL Deemed-to-be University stands 1st in the state of Andhra Pradesh, 23rd Rank in India and 9th Rank among the Private Universities in India.
