New Delhi: LawSikho’s latest bootcamp was a rousing success in every way. 20700 people from 103 countries across the world had registered for LawSikho’s virtual bootcamp on International Business Law, that happened from August 14-16, 6-9 pm, IST.
The bootcamp was free for all! The attendees included students from law and other diverse backgrounds, lawyers, Company Directors and CEOs and other businesspersons, academic finance and HR professionals, techies and even government officials.
For instance, 90 government post-bearers, 250 businesspersons, 37 Directors and CEO-s, 270 academics, 745 advocates, 82 finance professionals, 45 HR professionals, a whopping 2214 students, even 33 techies and 328 other people from across 43 countries of the world attended the 3 hour session on Day 1, 14th August 2021.
This included people from many modern-day developing economies like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, UAE, Kuwait, Malaysia, Egypt, Nigeria,, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Iran etc. Seven people even joined the bootcamp from conflict-torn Afghanistan! Our thoughts and prayers will always be with them and their families.
On a positive note, people from advanced economies like the Netherlands, France and the UK had attended the bootcamp. As had a few from the Pacific Oceanian island nations like Fiji and the Solomon Islands had attended LawSikho’s latest 3-day, 9 hour bootcamp on Career in International Business Law.
The hosts were Ramanuj Mukherjee CEO & Co-Founder, LawSikho and Abhyuday Agarwal, COO and also Co-Founder, LawSikho. Over the last decade, they have become well-known career-mentors and influencers within the law-education niche.
During the bootcamp, the hosts showed the attendees how investing in a career in international business law promises to yield rich dividends in the coming years. In the course of the 3 sessions, the attendees learned how they can build their careers step-by-step in international business law, what are the challenges they will face at different stages of their careers and how they can overcome those obstacles.
The mentors also showcased some of the career-success stories of LawSikho’s recent and past learners. In July, 2021, 30 of LawSikho’s learners got jobs, 183 got internships and 62 got international freelancing gigs with support of their placement office.
During the 3-day bootcamp, the attendees learned 11 useful business-law-oriented career-skills such as how to incorporate a company in Singapore, how to expand business to Dubai and China, how lawyers can help companies with tax haven restructuring, how to do the Delaware ‘flip’ etc.
The attendees also received a whopping 30 free giveaways in the forms of primers, compilations, guides, checklists, presentations and template-drafts – all aimed at career-building assistance. This is the largest quantity of free giveaway materials that LawSikho has ever doled out to its bootcamp participants.
In 2021, LawSikho’s bootcamps have kept on growing at such a rate that, in the last 6-7 months, nearly 1.5 lakh people from more than 120 countries of the world have registered for their free, live and virtual bootcamps!
