The London Spirits Competition distinguishes itself through a rigorous blind-tasting process conducted by a panel of industry experts, master distillers, spirits buyers, and sommeliers who evaluate entries solely on liquid quality, production integrity, and category excellence. Winners are determined through consensus scoring across multiple judging rounds, making recognition at this level a meaningful validation of technical merit and taste profile.

Distilled from 100% highland agave in Jalisco, Mexico, under the guidance of third-generation master distiller Willy Bañuelos Ramírez at Hacienda de Bañuelos, Loca Loka is entirely additive-free. The brand’s name merges Loca (Spanish for “crazy”) and Loka (Sanskrit for “world”), reflecting its cross-cultural DNA rooted in Mexican terroir and Indian creative vision.
The London Spirits Competition medals join previous accolades at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, New York International Spirits Competition, Miami World Spirits Competition, and WSWA Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition, establishing a consistent track record of recognition across major international judging panels.
Loca Loka is a joint venture co-founded by Indian film actor Rana Daggubati, composer Anirudh Ravichander and entrepreneur Harsha Vadlamudi.
