Bhopal: Labour Minister Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh informed that while appreciating the “Rozgar Setu Portal” initiated by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan to provide employment facility to migrant workers who returned to Madhya Pradesh from other states during Covid 19 lockdown, NITI Aayog, Government of India has decided to link the “Rozgar Setu Portal” with the Aayog’s initiative “Unnati Portal” launched at the national level for the unemployed by the Government of India. With this, all categories of unemployed people in Madhya Pradesh will get more opportunities for employment planning.
Labour Minister Shri Singh said that by linking the State’s Rozgar Setu Portal with Government of India’s Unnati Portal the unemployed people of the state will also be able to take advantage of the facilities of Unnati Portal. The link of Unnati Portal (https://unnati.gov.in/) has been made available on the Rozgar Setu Portal. He has described this decision as a major initiative towards Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh.
Labour Minister Shri Singh informed that Unnati Portal is a job portal created by the Government of India to provide employment to about 20 crore people of India equipped with new technology as per their expectation and ability. One can easily contact employers / employment providers anywhere in India based on their preferred location and industry and skills while making use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other modern technologies. Minister Shri Singh said that the portal is to provide a platform of live contact between the job seekers and employment providers in nine languages through audio-visual medium using less words, so that the person gets quality planning even beyond the geographical boundaries of the state.
Minister Shri Singh informed that the Unnati Portal will work through Android App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?) and web portal (https://jobseeker.unnati.gov.in/), on which employment seekers and employment providers will be able to register and fulfill their requirements as per their needs in just one minute. Many reputed large, medium, small and micro companies will be able to generate employment on the portal.
Instructions have been issued by Principal Secretary Labour Shri Umakant Umrao to all the collectors of the state for promotion of “Unnati Portal” and “Rozgar Setu Portal”.
