After taking Mumbai on a culinary journey through Korea, Tipsy Tiger Garden Bar is ready to unveil the next chapter of its much-loved Across Asia series with an immersive Bali Food Festival. Inspired by the tropical island’s vibrant street food culture, fragrant spices, and comforting home-style recipes, the limited-time festival invites diners to savour the authentic flavours of Bali without leaving the city.
Known for its high-energy atmosphere and bold Asian fare, Tipsy Tiger Garden Bar continues its exploration of Asia’s most celebrated cuisines by curating a menu that captures the essence of Balinese dining, from aromatic broths and smoky grills to rich coconut curries and tropical desserts.
The menu opens with comforting bowls of Balinese Pumpkin Coconut Soup and the traditional Soto Ayam Bali, before moving into refreshing salads like the Pomelo Bali Salad and Prawn Mango Bali Salad that showcase the island’s love for fresh produce and vibrant citrus notes.
For starters, guests can indulge in charcoal-grilled Cottage Cheese Satay, crispy Jagung Corn Fritters, Chicken Satay Lilit wrapped around fragrant lemongrass stalks, delicate Fish Cakes Bali, and the signature Balinese-Style Crab (Kepiting Bumbu Bali), prepared in a rich chilli and aromatic spice sauce that delivers bold island flavours.
The heart of the festival lies in its comforting mains. Slow-cooked Jackfruit Curry, Eggplant Sambal Curry, creamy Massaman Curry, fragrant Seafood Kari Bali, and Lamb Rendang Bali Style bring together coconut, herbs, and traditional Balinese spices in every bite. For those looking to experience a complete feast, the Bali Feast Platter offers an assortment of satays, nasi goreng, sambal, stir-fried greens, salads, and crackers, while the Island Seafood Grill Plate celebrates the bounty of the sea with grilled prawns, fish, squid, coconut rice, and sambal matah.
No Balinese meal is complete without dessert. Guests can round off the experience with the delicate Dadar Gulung Coconut Crepe, comforting Black Rice Coconut Pudding, crispy Fried Banana with Palm Sugar Ice Cream, or the refreshing Es Cendol, one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic chilled desserts.
“The response to our Across Asia series has been incredibly encouraging, Mumbai’s diners are clearly eager to explore Asian cuisines beyond the familiar,” says Ewa Valia, Assistant Marketing Manager at Tipsy Tiger Garden Bar. “After Korea, Bali felt like the natural next step, especially with the monsoon in full swing. There’s something about rainy days in Mumbai that makes you crave Bali’s warmth, its coconut curries, its comforting broths. We wanted to bring not just the flavours but the island’s easy, laid-back spirit to the table, right when the city needs it most.”
With its tropical flavours, comforting classics, and thoughtfully curated menu, the Bali Food Festival promises to be another exciting chapter in Tipsy Tiger Garden Bar’s journey across Asia, one that celebrates discovery, culture, and unforgettable dining experiences.
