Mushroom Cultivation Training for border youths by SSB

MANGALDAI,  To uplift the socio-economic condition  through self employment of the youths along the Indo Bhutan international  border, a thirty days training on  “Scientific Mushroom Cultivation ‘ has been organized by 23 Battallion, SSB operating in the area. The training programme under   ‘Civic Action Programme ( North East Region) where altogether thirty progressive local youths have taken part was ceremonially inaugurated on Friday by  Chance Keishing , DIG SHQ SSB, Bezpara ,Mangaldai at the campus of 23 Bn SSB, Lalpool near here . This has been stated in a press communique from SSB as received here. In his inaugural speech Chance Keishing urged the trainees to attend the training with full zeal and dedication. He also encouraged them to implement the same in the field for a grand success of the programme.  The inaugural programme  was also attended by several senior SSB officials and prominent persons including Dr. Digjam Guite, Commandant Medical, Dr. L. K. Singh, Commandant (Very), Kaikho Athikho, Deputy commandant (Offg. Commandant), Rajat Pandey, Asstt. Commandant (Comn.) of 23 Bn SSB, Lalpool ,Sub divisional Agricultural Officer Dipak Medhi, Dr. Pallabi Deka, Mrs Pompi Borah from Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Udalguri , Mr. Naresh Upadhyay from JNV, Goraimari  among others. In his inaugural speech Chance Keishing urged the trainees to attend the training with full zeal and dedication.
