NAAC A grade for Heritage Institute of Technology

Kolkata: Heritage Institute of Technology (HITK), an autonomous institute declared by UGC and affiliated to MAKAUT received NAAC A grade in the second cycle on 12th July 2022. The results were declared by the NAAC team today. A NAAC peer team visited Heritage Institute during 6th and 7th July 2022 and handed over a detailed peer team report along with the Assessment Outcome Document (AOD) during exit meeting on 7th July 2022.

Recently the Institute celebrated its 21st Foundation Day and released a commemorative postal cover on the completion of 20 years.

“It’s a proud moment for the entire Heritage family. I thank the faculty and staff members who have given their efforts in fetching this milestone, ” said Padma Shri P. R. Agarwala, Chairman, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.

“This NAAC accreditation should place the Institute at the National level and would facilitate various UGC & other Government research projects as well as academic excellence, “said Shri H. K. Chaudhary, Chairman, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata.

“My team has given their best,” said Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, Heritage Institute of Technology.

“I thank all the trustee members,faculty & other staff as well as all our stakeholders whose blessings and continued support helped us in achieving such a feat”, said Shri P. K. Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions.

As declared by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) today, Heritage Institute of Technology has been accredited with A Grade which is valid for a period of five years with effect from 12th July 2022.
