In Nagaland,90 people tested positive for COVID-19 today taking the total number of affected people in the state to 1,174. This is the single highest spike in the number of cases so far in the state.
In a tweet, Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom said that 61 new cases have been reported from Kohima and 25 from Dimapur. 688 people are under treatment while 486 have recovered so far in the state.
Meanwhile, Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department has clarified that the COVID-19 cases detected yesterday were 54 and not 57.
