The National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, has sought a detailed report from Chief Secretary of Delhi on yesterday’s fire incident that claimed 43 lives in Anaj Mandi area.
Commissioner of Delhi Police and Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation have also been asked to submit reports in this regard.
They have been asked to submit the reports within six weeks, along with the action taken against the errant officials.
The NHRC has taken a suo motu cognizance of media reports of the tragedy.
