New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made its first arrest in the NGO Terror Funding Case registered in October 2020. The NIA informed that it has arrested one Irfan Mehraj from Srinagar who was a close associate of Khurram Parvez and also working with his organization, Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil Societies (JKCCS). The NIA found during its investigation that the JKCCS was funding terror activities in the valley. It was also revealed that it had been in propagation of secessionist agenda in the Valley under the garb of protection of human rights.
