Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for four National Highway projects in Rajasthan today. These include three projects in Bikaner and one in Nagaur. At Bikaner, the first project for laying of foundation stones is 163 kilometres, two lane section of National Highway from Raisinghnagar to Poogal. This road is being built under Bharatmala on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode at a cost of 687 crore rupees.
The second is the 4 lane/2 lane Khajuwala-Poogal and Poogal-Dantour-Jaggasar-Gokul-Godu-Ranjeetpura-Charanwala-Naukh-Bap sections of NH-911 being built under Bharatmala on Hybrid-Annuity Model HAM basis. The 212 kilometers project is estimated to cost 895 crore rupees. The third project is the 4 lane/2 lane Bikaner-Phalodi Section of NH-15 under National Highways Development Project NHDP-Phase IV on Build-Operate-Transfer BOT basis.
The 159 Kilometers highway is estimated to cost 844 crore rupees. At Nagaur, Mr Gadkari will inaugurate the project involving two-laning of Salasar-Nagaur section of NH-65 on Hybrid-Annuity Model HAM basis with total length of 120 kilometres at a cost of 480 crore rupees
