In Mizoram, one person was killed and three others were injured in a major landslide at a quarry in the suburbs of Aizawl on Monday afternoon. Police said eight workers were working in the quarry.
Seven people managed to escape when the landslide occurred. One worker was buried under the quarry rocks. According to the police, two jcb vehicles are engaged in clearing the stack of boulders and rocks to find the body.
