Karnataka crossed one lakh COVID -19 positive cases with 5324 new cases reported in the state yesterday. 1,847 people recovered from various hospitals. So far 37,685 people have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. A total number of 75 people succumbed to the disease yesterday and the death toll has increased to 1,953.
61,819 active cases are taking treatment in various hospitals in the State. 28,224 swab samples were tested in 90 labs across the State and the total tests have gone up to 12,05,051.
1,470 new covid cases were reported from Bengaluru and the active cases have gone up to 33,816 in the city. So far 12,189 people discharged from various hospitals in the city which includes 784 discharges yesterday. 26 patients lost their lives yesterday and the total deaths increased to 917 in Bengaluru.
