OneAssist and Home Town Partner to Bring Comprehensive Furniture Protection to Indian Homes

 OneAssist, India’s highest-rated InsurTech company, today announces a first-of-its-kind partnership with Home Town, one of India’s most trusted furniture and home décor retailer, to launch structured protection plans for furniture. With furniture representing one of the largest and most emotionally significant purchases Indian households make, the partnership aims to close a long-standing protection gap in the category, one that leaves most consumers financially exposed when damage, defect, or wear strikes.

The collaboration was inaugurated today at the Home Town outlet at Seasons Mall, Pune, a milestone launch timed to coincide with Home Town’s 20th anniversary celebrations, underscoring the retailer’s enduring commitment to delivering value, trust, and innovation to the Indian consumer.

Listening to customers, and their need to cover accidental spills, structural damage, liquid damages – the OneAssist–HomeTown partnership directly addresses this gap by making protection accessible at the very moment of purchase.

Three protection plans are being introduced under this collaboration, each designed to address a distinct consumer need. All three plans are available as opt-in purchases at HomeTown stores.
