New Delhi: Income Tax Department has issued refunds of over one lakh six thousand crore rupees to more than 30 lakh taxpayers between 1st April to 15th September this year. In a tweet, Central Board of Direct Taxes, CBDT said, Income tax refunds of 31 thousand 741 crore rupees have been issued in over 29 lakh cases and corporate tax refunds of 74 thousand 729 crore rupees have been issued in over one lakh 74 thousand cases.
