Mumbai – This Father’s Day weekend, Pause, Bandra’s neighbourhood café known for its mindful dining and creating meaningful memories – invites guests to celebrate their fathers, and the father figures who have shaped their lives. Running throughout the weekend, the initiative encourages guests to honour the relationships that have guided, supported and inspired them, creating a space where memories take centre stage.
At Pause, food has always been about more than what is served on the plate. Built around the philosophy of conscious eating, thoughtful conversations and slowing down amidst the city’s fast pace, the café believes that the most meaningful experiences are often rooted in human connection. This Father’s Day, Pause extends that philosophy beyond the table, inviting guests to celebrate the people who have played an important role in their lives and the memories they continue to cherish.
As part of the celebration, guests are invited to participate in the “Pause With Papa” contest throughout the Father’s Day weekend. Participants can visit Pause and take a photograph either with their father or father figure, or with a meaningful reminder of them – whether it’s a cherished photograph, a favourite book, a treasured accessory, or any object that holds a special memory. Guests can also make use of specially curated Father’s Day props available at the café to capture the moment.
To enter the contest, participants must follow Pause on Instagram, post their photograph on their Instagram feed, and tag the Pause instagram handle. Participants are also encouraged to share the story behind their photograph, reflecting on what makes that person special and why they make them pause and smile. Entries will be accepted throughout the weekend, and participants are requested to ensure that their Instagram profiles are public so that submissions can be viewed.
One lucky winner, that will be disclosed by the 30th of June, will receive an Exclusive Monsoon Menu Tasting Experience at Pause, offering an opportunity to be among the first to experience the café’s seasonal menu. The contest aims to celebrate not just fathers, but all the meaningful relationships that deserve appreciation, remembrance and gratitude.
Through this initiative, Pause hopes to remind guests that while great food brings people together, it is the people we share it with who create lasting memories.
