Thiruvananthapuram Division, Southern Railway will organize ‘Pension Adalat-2022’ through Video Conferencing(VC) mode from 10:00 hrs onwards on Thursday, 5th May 2022 in order to address the grievances of railway pensioners.
Retired officers and staff and family pensioners of Thiruvananthapuram Division jurisdiction can attend the Adalat for speedy redressal of their grievances relating to Pension/Settlement issues. The Adalat will consider pension-related grievances which include non-receipt, lesser payment, revision of pension/family pension and non-receipt of graded relief, other pensionary benefits etc. Issues related to the non-transfer of pensions by disbursing agencies will also be dealt with. The Adalat will not take up cases involving; policy matters and legal issues, grievances relating to compassionate ground appointments, requesting change in policy/rules involving purely legal points etc. Also, grievances represented in earlier Adalats and replied suitably will not be considered.
