New Delhi: Press Information Bureau has cautioned the public about the AI-generated images of farmers’protests which are circulating on social media. The team urged the general public to verify the sources before forwarding the pictures. It said such images can blur the line between truth and fiction. The team clarified that the photo used in social media is a representative image created by AI and not an authentic photograph.
Early this week, several AI generated photos have started circulating on the social media after the farmers began their protest march towards Delhi as per their ‘Delhi Chalo’ call.
