PM Modi expresses confidence that Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar will work diligently for bright future of Maharashtra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Devendra Fadnavis for taking oath as Chief Minister of Maharashtra and NCP leader Ajit Pawar as the Deputy Chief Minister. In a tweet, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that both the leaders will work diligently for the bright future of Maharashtra. 

Union Ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari and Prakash Javadekar have also congratulated the two leaders. In a tweet, Mr Shah expressed confidence that the new government will be continuously committed to the development and welfare of Maharashtra and will set new standards of progress in the state.

Mr Gadkari said in a tweet that under the leadership of Mr Fadavis, the development chariot of Maharashtra will move faster. Mr Javadekar said Shivsena betrayed the people of the state by deciding to go with the Congress.
