Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived today at Prabhas Patan in Gujarat to participate in the celebrations of Somnath Amrit Parv. After landing at the helipad, the Prime Minister held a grand one-kilometre roadshow up to Hamirji Gohil Circle. A large crowd gathered during the roadshow. PM Modi greeted the people and was welcomed with the sound of damrus. During the roadshow, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi also accompanied him.
As part of the celebrations, the Prime Minister will participate in religious programmes. He will offer Mahapuja, followed by the Kumbhabhishek and flag-hoisting ceremony. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also address a public gathering.
