Police arrests one more from Nalbari in connection with Assam Police SI Exam Scam Case

GUWAHATI : Assam police arrested another man accused in the Nalbari case in the S.I. recruitment scam case on Monday. The accused’s name is Pranav Sharma alias Bulbul. Sarma is a public school teacher and owner of the lata pharmacy located on Nalbari-Hazo Road. He is now being questioned at nalbari police station. Pranav Sarma’s audio has already gone viral on the Internet asking for money from SI candidates.

He is alleged to have demanded Rs 9-10 lakh from the candidates. The accused has been arrested on the basis of a specific phone tapping. Several accused were arrested from Nalbari in the case. Earlier, the owner of the unsustainable telecommunications company on Sunday mysteriously set fire to the godown. According to reports, the godown is named after the sisters of the moon, but it is used for its business purpose. When CID attacked the house of the fugitive Axis Moon, the forest was mysteriously set on fire in his godown.

The recruitment inquiry has come to the Bangaigaon district when the alleged aksha telecommunication owners Akshay Chand and Rubul Hazarika were also involved in the biggest scam of Assam police. A team of Assam police, including CID, recovered Rs 33 33 crore from Tarini Bani’s house based on Rubul Hazarika’s confession. The group has recovered crores of rupees from the father-in-law of rupam das, accused in Awaipuri in Bangan district. On the other hand, Rs 1.5 lakh in cash was seized from a lamp-man in Bangan and Rs 1.15 crore was recovered from the house of Devaraj Das from Burpeta.

The three accused are railway workers and close associates of Rubul Hazarika. Meanwhile, after recovering money from different areas of Burpeta and Bangaigaon, Meanwhile, former BJP leader and SI test accused Dayan Deka was today produced before the court after cid refused to keep him in custody and sent to judicial custody. Deka, Manjit Bora, Tarani Kanta Banya, Rupam Das, Pradeep Majumdar were also produced in the court today. Earlier, the former BJP leader was in custody for five days at the Crime Branch, then transferred to the Crime Investigation Department (CID) for six days.
